Managed to roll a few big bales together to make a really good hide, guns ready...just waiting for it to start..

Managed a few shots at some fast mallard but they were just too fast for me..

The day finished well with two decent size Canada's for the butchers tomorrow morning..

One thing I have never done yet, fowling! Will get round to it eventually. Will have to see what clubs are local. It's days that are the problem, what with work and home life. Looks like you had a nice morning of it. Must be fab to have that sort of setting. Crisp early morning! Watching the sunrise with the sound of geese filling the air. Sound magic!

Yea was a cracking sunrise, could hear teal flying over and the whistle of duck wings flapping past us... Then the geese started to get louder and louder, saw a skein of geese about 500 meters out heading our way, so hid really still in the hide then popped up at the last second...I'm really lucky I have a good friend who lets me shoot his land with him so can go as often as work allows..bring on the frosty mornings tho, that's when the goosing is at it's best!!
