harrycatcat1 Posted December 30, 2013 Report Share Posted December 30, 2013 (edited) Plywood 12mm bottom, 10mm sides, 6mm deck 1 5/8" Gun 24oz - 32oz max I use to use a boat similar to yours but found it a bit cramped for two 15st + men I guess the average man was closer to 10st a hundred + years ago, the big boat is much more forgiving on big open waters with a bit of a blow. There's a lot of people wish they were halve as skilful as you obviously are, your build is fine. Have a great Christmas. HB. Half ? I wish I was an eighth as skillfull. marsh man Posted January 17, 2014 Report Share Posted January 17, 2014 this is my first time also on pw I have read all the posts and found them very interesting your punt look excellent and I am sure it will grace any river or estury it go on it also remined me of the time I had two punts myself on breydon water at a time when there were several on there then also half a dozen house boats and boatsheds now they are all gone and seeing a punt on there is a rare occasion so thanks for bringing it all back to me hope the spellings aint to bad as I am getting a bit long in the tooth Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
