Duffryn
My shooting seems to be improving ( finally). Thanks for the advice on this forum , it made a difference. I'm still making mistakes but at least I'm aware of what I'm doing wrong now. The keeper had a real job getting the birds to fly ( no wind and strong sun) but I was lucky on the pegs and had a really good day. Rob ran in again and is now going tonhave to sit in front of me where I can keep an eye on him ! Very impressed with the Go Pro 3+. Hope you enjoy... Kes
Really enjoyable - especially at 9.30 ! You have returned to your original style very much, far less last seconds acceleration of the gun barrels. Some very good shots - in fact it must have been a near perfect day - apart from the sun. I noticed in last years videos you tended to hit more second shot so, although you mention it in this video it was there before - perhaps simply a matter of too little lead/slower than necessary swing speed - you always, as far as I can see, miss behind the first time, when you do, you do not correct your line between first and second shots so you are either in front or behind a little. When you visually examine your swing you tend to accelerate the barrels very quickly to compensate which leads to too much lead, or apparent 'flicking'.. There are lots of good first shots on the duck drive. I would try and speed up the swing a bit on the first shot. Being at a low angle but flying quite quickly, it is easy to miss just a bit behind. Make sure you mentally note the lead/swing speed when you shoot successfully on the first shot. Duck are different to pheasants unless its windy !! Just ignore the comments if you think they are unhelpful. Keep on filming ! Good luck - awaiting the next video with surprising expectation. Good to see you enjoying the day ! Oh, finally, are you leaning slightly more, or is the camera a bit askew, as one or two shots are almost off the screen at the top left hand side of the frame ? NickB65
Another great video although I woul dagree the camera was slightly out but I am just being picky.... Some lovely shooting and some great decisions on birds that where either too far or low. All too often some guns will take a low bird or try for the impossible. another great day bar the sun which if the given the choice between sun or rain I woul dchoose the sun..... Looking forward to the next shoot. PS Rob is looking good too with some nice retrieves.
tonker
Great video and some good longer shots! It may have been the lens but some looked a good distance, but once hit they stayed hit, can I ask what chokes you had in please.
Duffryn
Hi Kes, Really appreciate the feedback, your comments last time are one of the reasons my shooting was better this time. Agree with your comments above. Problem is that its easier to remember than actually do but I'll try harder next time ( promise ). The one down side of the Go pro 3+ is that its smaller and lighter than the other camera's and so if it moves out of position on my head I often don't feel the movement to be able to correct it. Great video and some good longer shots! It may have been the lens but some looked a good distance, but once hit they stayed hit, can I ask what chokes you had in please. Sure 1/4 and 1/
Cranfield
As good as ever and you certainly shot well. That sun made things difficult, but you didn't miss much.

Squash wavy
That was really useful and interesting to watch. Never been on a game shoot but it's definitely on my to do list once I've got more skill! I don't live too far from Powis Castle either. Definitely will buy one of those go pros too. Wildfowler12
Good shooting and a great video, nice to see restraint on birds that where either too low or tall
