figgy
Just normal welly socks, merino wool mix blend for me to wick any moisture away. Figgy
Cosd
Any recommendations for socks to wear under my new Aigle Parcours? For normal weather any boot sock will do. I use CAT socks which add an extra layer of cushion which is nice. But in extreme cold weather the Aigle fleece sock is excellent. http://www.aigleboots.co.uk/accessories/socks/aigle-gotland-fleece-boot-socks-bronze-36-37?colour=Bronze&sock_size=36+-+37 Edited January 1, 2014 by Cosd
Penelope
Heat Holders might be worth a look too. http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=heat+holders+long+socks&tag=mh0a9-21&index=clothing&hvadid=3170864444&ref=pd_sl_7a180fedwt_e Edited January 2, 2014 by Penelope
Big Mat
Heat Holders might be worth a look too. http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=heat+holders+long+socks&tag=mh0a9-21&index=clothing&hvadid=3170864444&ref=pd_sl_7a180fedwt_e I've found wearing heat holders in neoprene wellies makes your feet way to warm and sweat alot! HDAV
Dont think I need any extra warmth just comfort and staying on my foot!
ronny
Got these boots, very warm but have trouble with socks coming off, makes it hard then to remove welly. I use long socks and fold over top of boot.
wymberley
Got these boots, very warm but have trouble with socks coming off, makes it hard then to remove welly. +1 Essential to have a well fitting sock with room left to ensure that the boot fit is not too tight. Even so, I've had to revert to a boot pull. As said, the best option where possible is the old sea boot sock turn-over.
HDAV
To be fair i went shooting in them today and my feet were rather toasty perhaps a little too toasty.... i was using a pair of thick socks over my normal cotton socks.... might dig out some rugby socks long and not too thick and try them
Rst1990
Not really an answer but the company called go outdoors have loads of brands sizes styles colours etc to choose from, if one is local you should go and have a look.
rimfire4969
Not much help top you: I have these boots and now don't wear them unless it is very cold, I find them just too warm. I now have a pair of Aigle Parcours with the leather interior, still warm but I find them more usable and comfy.
