GREENGRASS
Out with this beast and a Harris on rabbits. 11/01/14 Only a few flights the area was quite heavily wooded but the RT managed to latch onto one un lucky rabbit. I did attempt to track him in flight but out of my league in such an environment. Managed a few at the kill but he was not to happy with me flat out on the ground whilst squeezing the life out of Mr Rabbit.. So I have to say I did not hang about. kent
So the bird has worked out the Bum deal and the term "fair exchange is no robbery" is missing some of the "fairness"? LOL Great photos, love to do this but with dogs, guns, shooting, fishing etc. never been able to commit the time required

hedge hunter
Excellent photos GG, I dont blame you 1 bit for not hanging around the rt on a kill. Mine was a right nasty piece of work around a catch, and very powerful to go with it .Caught me out a few times, cheers hh

AV Mode on the camera This way you control/set the F number which gets you the DOF. However the camera then sorts the best shutter speed. ISO varies on different camera makes and models. 1600 is my max. If you have a Nikon you can go a lot higher with the ISO. Apologies if I'm teaching you to suck eggs.. Hope that helps..
