Been out with the catapult

Is it legal or not?

Not having a pop, just don't have a clue.

Edit : I meant hunting with a catapult, not poaching by the way.

As long as you adhere to all game regulations and have permission to be on the land then I believe it's legal.

Whether they're the best tool for the job is debatable.

Have you ever used a catapult

I couldn't hit a barn door

It's a bit serious on here tonight hey

Probably because most people on here take what they do quite seriously.

I take it you fully understand the consequences of what you're doing should you get caught?

I was only discussing by PM with a member last night how many numpties do something illegal and then post it on here for the world to see and then up pops this

I have never yet seen being a poor shot with what ever weapon being a defense for poaching , I mean can you see it "ello ello ello, I believe we have just caught you in the act of poaching "

"Its ok officer I am a **** shot with my silenced 410 "

"Oh thats ok then sir sorry to have troubled you , please carry on "

We have all played with catapults in the past and plenty of folk still do and are very good with them.

But thinking before posting might help your cause.

I regularly used to hunt with mine as a lad,my son does now with a tricked out Barnett Diablo.

Worth checking out the bean shooter guy and some other vids online.
