pestcontrol1
Going shooting today and i am trying out some ( new ) fiber shot cup 26g steel that i have loaded up to try they patterned quiet good but are abit slower than what i would normaly use. but they were a dream to load up and everything fit in the case nicely with a good crimp to finish it off. I have one concern about the wad but i will look into it today while shooting and will report back on what there like. PC1
figgy
Steel needs speed, that's the trouble with it. Hope it works for. Figgy

pestcontrol1
Well they kill well 3 Pheasants 2 woodcock and 2 very nice pigeons Pheasants would 35-40 yrds and one well over 40 all dead no runners so that was good and the pigeons were a good hight and it was bloowing a gale on that drive lol. So all in all for a light 26g load of just over 3mm steel in 12gauge they worked well. A few wads was given to me to load with a recipe that they have had a the proof house to test in the field as i thought that they would be to slow as i know slowish steel dont work as good i cant remember the speed or presure figures off top of my head but seem to remember that they was about 1400fps. I know that they come in different sizes which i will be trying out i am not sure how many or the price or even if they are for sale yet but i will find out when i speak to them tomorrow morning. There is a couple of little niggels to look into but at the moment they get the Easy to slit 4 ways load easy (new cases) i found them a good hight and gave a good crimp with the load i used i will add things as i have any info regarding price and location when i speak with them to make sure they have some in stock Edited January 25, 2014 by pestcontrol1
