Underdog
later I bumped into another dog fox! Gorgeous morning, walked miles and on the way back had a bit of luck when I saw this fox mooching around in a tractor track at 50yds, hidden by cover I moved in as he was slowly moving away. Then he turned to my right and he was soon going to wind me! In a horse paddock now full of tall buttercup he was, I was worried it may foul the bullet! I was remembering those light .224" bullets of years ago! He stuck his head up to nose the air and the sight was on the stretched neck masked though by buttercups......whallop, the 158grn xtp stopped him perfect, no fuss. 30yd or so and my old sprocker retrieved it to me That's two last week, five Saturday night and one today, eight. Where do they keep coming from! Hope you like the snap. Underdog

Hmmm, I have what sounds like a distant diesel engine running in the distance noise now and it is worse if I don't plug my lugs when shooting U. demonwolf444
I don't suppose you can get a muzzle loading rifle conditioned for vermin can you? Probably limited to club usage.. Good stout charge and some big shot would do it from the flintlock i would imagine..sensible ranges and all that.

Can understand that; it would be a good thing, little 32 cal muzzle loading rifle would be my choice i think. Just need to wait for you to set the precedent
