Scully
Will be interesting to learn what todays bag was when daughter gets in from work. As I passed the hotel in which she works I counted 18 4x4's, mostly Landrovers, parked outside. Looked busy.

So many miss this fact or pass over it as over active PR, Grouse shooting money spreads in areas that need it
Scully
So many miss this fact or pass over it as over active PR, Grouse shooting money spreads in areas that need it Still haven't found out what bag was, but as an indication of the money spent in this hotel alone, daughter says it was booked by game shooters some time ago now for the present season, who will be there every Wed Thurs Fri and Sat until the end of January. Good job they allow dogs!
WGD
We had a fantastic day on Friday, between 10 guns walking up we shot 44.5 brace (thankfully we could drop birds at the lunch spot for pick up by ATV). This on the same ground we shot 6.5 brace at the same time last year. Numbers were fantastic and we could have shot more. Weather was great too, all in all probably one of the best days shooting I've been lucky enough to enjoy.
scutt
Looks like you had a day to remember WGD. The syndicate lads had a walk up on sat very windy they put up a good number of birds and they got 7 nowt in comparison to wgd but they enjoyed the day.I hope to get out on the grouse later next month as I missed out on Sat because I had to sort out a problem with the poults and I didn't carry the gun on the first day as it was a little let day. So this could be me next time
WGD
Have a good one Scutt, normally grouse for me is a brace or two between an army of guns so Friday was a bit special.

button
What was the bag B06? I was speaking to a friend who had heard of a moor that had shot 270 brace. Looks like the talk about good numbers of birds was right!
Beretta06
We shot 238 brace on Monday and 289 brace yesterday. On 12th, they shot 297 brace, 13th was 268 brace. The moor is excellent condition. The owner has invested heavily and the keeper team have done an outstanding job. It was a fantastic two days and I consider myself very lucky to have been there. kent
Was speaking to the local keepers the other week, prediction is the best ever season on grouse and some very cheap shooting back end when they want the numbers reducing to prevent the onset of disease
