tiercel
Those are some fantastic pictures NTTF. How the hell did he keep up with the hunting pack of Wolves? Or was it a matter of being in the right place at the right time. Brilliant!!
new to the flock
I imagine that those are taken from the Department of Natural Resources Helecopter, his Father in Law is retired from there as a Conservation Officer, and the head of the Moose Research Program. Although he still does alot of consulting work for the Moose Program so he gets out with them or they send him any photos that they take. You cant get more closer to nature then that, thats the way they hunt, if folks dont like it, dont look, nothing can be done about it, as they have to hunt for a living. Frank. red_stag88
Here in NZ there are supposed to be a few moose, like half a dozen. The DOC send off poo now and again... However, a man was once gored by a bull moose here. He was the only person to every be gored in NZ by a moose. This man was Allan Miller. He was a very experinced hunter. So experinced he owns a huge shop in Dunedin. He was mysteryously gored in said shop.... By tripping over a box and landing ontop of a stuffed moose he had shot in canada that he was trying to put on the wall.
