Royboy
I've just come across some very old Baikal Cartridges, they are 7s and have Record writen on the side, they have been in my cupboard for a very long time so would I be advised to use them ?? And also some Eley Grand Prix 5s ? Cheers Edited October 9, 2014 by Royboy
steve_b_wales
Yes, go ahead and use them if they have been kept dry. Same with the Grand Prix.

FOXHUNTER1
Baikal cartridges were very good and hard hitting. Spent many hours in my youth shooting thousands of rabbits with them.

Me too. I used to like watching the flames exit the barrel, when it started to get dark! I've still got some Record # 4's (black cartridge) which I bought back in the mid 1970's. harrycatcat1
I had a 5 shot Francci auto at the time (pre "Hungerford") and the Baikal Records used to singe my eyelashes edited to say if you were quick you could light your fag Edited October 9, 2014 by harrycatcat1

Harnser
"Low recoil smokeless cartridges ." They would be done under the trades discription act today . Shot thousands of them in my time . Hard hitting smokey , oily , noisy , shoulder bashing cartridges that were cheap . I loved them .
