Cawdor118
525 would be the model, do you mean which grade? It looks to have better woodwork however not completely top end. I would go for a grade 3.
Daveo26
No mate, iv been trying to figure out what variant it is. There seems to be lots of options, hunter, game 1 or 2 , hunter lite or hunter lite elite. All different prices. A lot are listed as multi choke mines fixed choke, it was just out of interest really Good luck with your search! Thank chief you have a good evening
Kalahari
When the 525s first came out there was the option of fixxed choke but they weren't steel proofed if I can remember rightly. There is a date code in the two letters of the date code. z=1 y=2 x=3 w=4 v=5 T=6 R=7 P=8 N=9 M=0 Hope this helps. David.
HDAV
Its game gun only FC are game and trap, that has a schnabel forend and fixed trigger. no teardrops so not a grade 5, probably a 1 or 3 Photo too small to say any more really. Daveo26
2011 then! It's got the 6mm rib, I bought it for game shooting, choked at 1/4 and 3/4 so it's not steel proofed. Could it be the hunter classic?
HDAV
Could be, does it really matter?
Whitebridges
Looks like it could the B525 Advance model (Grade 2).
Daveo26
Could be, does it really matter? Well yeah does to me. Probs won't make much difference to you Looks like it could the B525 Advance model (Grade 2). I like that idea
wacker
If it has a solid mid rib and a 6mm top rib then it may well be a 525 grade 1 game model. I had one with fixed choke 1/4 and 3/4. Nice gun.
Daveo26
Yeah that's what I think it is, I have to say Brownings range of o/us are confusing to say the least. My plan was to buy a miroku mk60 next year, whilst browsing the local gun shop I saw this and it was absolutely as new, save for a small cabinet mark on the wood. Turns out someone new to shooting bought it for trap shooting, found out it was the wrong gun and asked for his money back WITHOUT shooting it. Due to the mark they wouldn't refund him. So I had to have it

I knew it was a 525 game gun, just not which one! Being that I am up at 5am most mornings and earlier at weekends, going to bed at 8:30pm would be ideal, but that would be an hour and 15 minutes after getting in from work and eating dinner and doing things gets in the way of going to bed too early. Daveo26
How does it come up to your shoulder............? TEH Like a dream mate, iv always liked Brownings and can generally do better with one than a beretta, I used to shoot a 325 but the chambers rusted like hell and it used to **** me off. I intend to keep this for a long time.
