I hope everyone has a healthy and prosperous pigeon shooting 2015 All the best Steve
kiffy
wasnt to bad for me, as a fairly new shooter i ended last years fowling season (my first one) on a low but traded my gun for a different one and improved straight away had some cracking days on crows/jackdaws and pigeons through the summer but huge bags but VERY enjoyable days, and id rather a day that i can sit back and say i enjoyed rather than one with a huge bag.. and plenty of practice for the coming fowling season... my mate got his FAC so we have had a few nights lamping fox and rabbit which have been brilliant still not got my first pheasent, seen tons in the summer but obviously couldnt shoot them out of season. saw one on the weekend on a local fox shoot not five miles from my home.. dropped just in front of me but took off and landed ina treet ten yeards in front of one of the other guns and he didnt see it! would have been a lovely shot for him.. and me as it was about thirty from me but he was in the way so i couldnt take the shot :( only downer is my fowling season ended a week into september, but i had two trips and the new gun and i worked well together and i had birds on both trips.. amazing what a change of gun can do

stuy
Well this year was a disaster for me 19 weeks no work, no pay ,after 2 operation s my hand is at about 70 % and will have to try and work around the restrictions, as for the pigeon shooting it was going great, but missed the best at the harvest, but look forward to 2015 with new hope, and with a bit of luck good shooting! So I wish all pigeon watch members a happy new year and good shooting
