Paul taylor
Did we manage any pigeons between us? What percentage of them do you reckon PC shot? Edited January 3, 2015 by Paul taylor
motty
2000 rabbits isn't a lot. I think I could shoot that many in a year if I really wanted to.
ollie
It would be good if more members posted to these tallies so that we could get a better idea.
Hamster
2000 rabbits is almost 20 an outing if you went twice a week for a year with no breaks, you'd need a pretty damn fertile few thousand acres.

That's well achievable on a lot of peoples land, or it is on mine anyway.
Hamster
That's well achievable on a lot of peoples land, or it is on mine anyway. I don't doubt it but it would need to be a specific type of land, I have five main farms two of which are multi thousand acres, another not far behind which could produce loads of lamped rabbits once in a while but never those kinds of numbers, oddly enough a chicken farm of mine is the rabbit haven par excellence and I'm sure it's under 20 acres all in. My worst farm produced 600 rabbits 2 years ago in the bad snow, took 5 of us a weekend to cull them. Could still shoot 40 a week there now. daystate 177
Does it count if I run em over? As my only permission is the roads and last year accounted for 2 foxes and about 30 rabbits I'm up to 1 so far this year,
