69chris
i do, every couple of years i get fed up with it all - **** weather, mental busy roads, horrible tyre expense (new rear tyre every 800 miles on my zx10 !!) achy old bones etc etc etc sell current bike, happy for a few months until the sun comes out and the roads dry up and find myself back on ebay - its a curse

southeastpete
I always want another bike. Unfortunately funds won't allow it! And soon in will have to change my car and won't even be allowed a fast car :-( I dream of another daytona 675, a gsxr 750, rc8 etc
69chris
iv had bikes since i was 16, didnt or couldnt stop even when the kids came along, perhaps i was being selfish but there are many many ways to go, biking is just one of them, (imo) might as well be a happy dad doing all the things you enjoy
huds78
Ha Ha I know the exact feeling ! I`ve long given up fighting it now. I`ve had bikes since passing my test 16yrs ago and twice I have tried giving them up, once when my mate was on his way to mine witnessed someone jumping a red light at the same time a biker turned right ending up with the biker losing his life, that time I was bikeless for 3 months and the second time was when my 2nd child was born and I realised that I had done 200 miles between my 1st being born and the 2nd coming along but again 3 months later I was trawling Ebay. I now have 3 bikes (though 1 is for sale) but I rarely ride on the road (only twice last year) and have got really into doing trackdays not cheap but a lot of fun and in a way a lot safer. Only problem with that is my gun hardly left the cabinet last year as I was either at a trackday or preparing the bike for one.

cuffy
It's in your blood chief , just accept you need to live a little . I've not been without a bike since I was 16 and still get a buzz every time I get out

Tedly47
Just looked at the mot for mine..... I've done just under 500 miles in the last three years, sad I know but I can't bring myself to sell her.... So she sits on her stands in the garage with a cover on and the optimate pugged in..... Sometimes when I've had enough of the kids crying and "daddy can I" I get her out and start her up... Then the magic happens, magic I mean Thunder as she's a RSV mille R with a full race system on.... I will never sell her, she's mine all mine....... throttlemonkey
Daytona 675 is a weapon, but not for 18 stone old chunks like me
countryman
Buy an off road bike instead, it hurts like hell when you fall on older bones but generally you will be able to hobble away from it, now wheres my slippers.
chady
I would love one.. But they scare the hell out of me. I know I would kill my self on one.
Paddy Galore!
I fired up my old vfr last weekend, plus messing about on that old crunchie has got me thinking I don't really want to sell it after all.
AberFowl
Spent the last week looking at RC8's I try talking myself out of it, cost, risk etc But its inevitable, there will be an RC8 in the garage before the summer is here!
