Guest
Men, bad news! The chap whom had the good rear leg just sent me a picture of a bullet jacket! It had been shot. My initial reaction was anger, then I thought that maybe it just went wrong no fault of the rifleman! Then again, the land owner and keeper never mentioned any thing! Is it poachers! Bit annoyed now! The fox and another were still hanging around when I returned. I left the pluck in a handy spot but the keeper would not let me return for the fox's! Still don't understand that one! U :-( The plot thickens...... Thanks for sharing the update, ATB Youngie

fenboy
I am sure it must have been shot by someone having no right to do so , surely any legitimate stalker would have known they had shattered a leg and followed the beast up ?

wymberley
Very well done. But This, "piece of ground I frequent" sounds decidedly iffy to me!
Underdog
Very well done. But This, "piece of ground I frequent" sounds decidedly iffy to me! You assume wymbers! It is a tiny piece betwixt ground I use to have. So, apart from being slightly upsetting when I visit it is also a drive away. I don't visit it as much as I use to. U.
