TIGHTCHOKE
I thought that about 50% of them are native, we certainly see them roding during the warm summer evenings.
Kalahari
There is a resident breeding population. The GWCT have quite a bit of information about them. David.
ollie
They could be resident birds or just late leaving for the continent. Whilst out lamping last week I saw 3.
Aled
Just been on a family trip to Disneyland Paris, something we all enjoyed immensley,so whats this got to do with woodcock.....there is a closing ceremony at Disneyland at the end of the day, where there is fire works, big screen cartoons, and a light show......................plus a guest appearance by a Woodcock which flew directly over my head as the show began! novice cushie shooter
http://www.woodcockwatch.com/project-information.php I loved keeping tracks on the birds a few years ago. Some of the flights without stopping are incredible.
