Gordon R
In some elections it would not affect the result - albeit it is totally unacceptable, but in a potentially close run thing, it is appalling.

He's taking it, erm, ironically? The fact he may stand down as leader will not debar him from taking on another role (chairman for instance) and after all the bunch of parasites and thieves you willingly vote for let criminals back into office in one guise or another do they not? grrclark
If the exit polls are to be believed then UKIP were 56 seats behind the SNP and level with the greens. Yet UKIP will have more than 3x the % share of SNP. It's wrong

KW I would not pay too much attention to that mate. It is very skewed, and very far off the mark. The SNP will not do so well, the Tories will not do that well either, and Labour and Liberal Democrats will do quite a lot better than the exit poll suggests. I am watching the exit poll for Sunderland and I compare it with the actual result. Very very different.

grrclark
I think tonight is going to be brutal for the Lib Dems. It makes me wonder why so many of the swing voters didn't just vote Labour originally.

Fisherman Mike
it was 0.1% assuming that all of that 0.1% voted UKIP. Personally I don't think that matters one iota... the process was flawed.
