Underdog
Folks, since toting the wmr I don't use the lr! The CZ Brno just sits in the cupboard. The wmr does it all for me. Should I sell it? I don't harvest rabbit anymore so one for the pot and friends is enough. Easily covered by airgun or wmr. The smoke poles get used more than the 22lr too, bringing home plenty meals. Should I sell it? U.
winnie&bezza
Sell it! Let someone else get use out of it, plus makes room for another gun that you might fancy!
samboy
For me, a hard question to answer. The times ive sold things and wish i had not and on the other hand im a great one for saying if your not using something sell it and put the money to something else dont waste it. Scully
Strangely I did it the other way round; bought the .22 mag' first and sold it when I got the lr. It was just TOO loud without protection using it from a vehicle.
telf
i would say keep it,a .22 in the cabinet never comes in wrong,i have just sold one not so long ago but miss it that much ive just ordered another one,if anything hold onto it for a bit longer before you decide
bullet1747
No don't sell it Your daughter must be close to having the new born , he or she might need one in a few years
kyska
I feel you're plight, but then I'm an open critic of the lr, but an advocate of the wmr. Don't sell, it's another tool, however how little it's used, you'll notice the space.

Harnser
Move it on . I will give two waggon wheels and a packet of spangles for it ,if you meet me half way . Harnser
drut
I must be out of synch:tried .17 HMR& .22WMR but found, that for my needs(mostly rabbit & fox),22lr + .222 do the business without issues. As an aside,I enjoy reloading for the .222 which makes it reasonably "affordable".I am lucky in that the areas I shoot are not(with the use of experience/common sense) unduly prone to producing richochet with .22lr but recognize that others will have different scenarios and limitations. malkiserow
UD, you know it's not all about you and things at home are changing. Think of that new GD or GS when your lass has him/ her and the fun you will have plinking targets with the LR out in the field. pat g
Hmmm. Only you can decide that one UD. Every ones circumstances are different but i would say this and that is IMO the humble 22lr is the best alround tool in any shooters gun cabinet. if you think about it for years it was all anyone used until the arrival of the HMR. Now many people are realising that its not all its made out to be and has its own issues. Now many are going back to 22lr.!!! The WMR is a fine round though but i feel you may regret getting rid of the 22lr. That said if you find you need one again they are certainly cheap enough to replace ATB, Pat
Underdog
Good points. I think I will sit on it a while longer (not literary, might be loaded!). U.
