Davyo
Started making a few NV kits again for the lads and as we all know cables dangling around is something we don't like.Although my builds don't have cables ,the on/off switch has always been on the side of the screen. So to stop the fox lads having to take their hand away from the stock grip,I have started to incorporate the on/off switch on the rear of the camera housing( pro plast coupling) Just a little tip I'd share & thought it might come in useful for the NV builders amongst us. 3 pics of units without the switches just to give an idea where the switch would sit.Simple slid on slide off units,no plugging in cables or separate screen or batteries. Davyo
I don't sell them but I am happy to build them ( I have sold the odd one but it's been one of mine I've used).I just get the local lads to buy all the parts and they just drop in & I knock them up over a cupa & a bit crack.IR is up to them,T20s are fine and cheap ( not a fan,I'm a NM800 fan myself). I'm really very sorry for how I unloaded onto you. Don't need to apologise Dave,I should of made my comment more clearer as you where the last person on my mind.I haven't seen any of your stuff on the bay I thought you operated through here & NVF.The stuff on there is no where near you league as it's the basic stuff just like mine but they are asking silly prices. We all know how much you've put in to NV & your knowledge I could even touch.Your units are more like a factory unit built with quality components & pride, with the majority of the components you have designed yourself & your prices are totally justified. I am sorry for my reply earlier and apologise,I did feel it was justified at the time, but I to have had an uncomfortable night thinking about it,must be our age lol, never feel this bad when I fall out with the spouse! So sincere apologies mate. Dave

Davyo
Too many PM's to answer so here's the parts list KPC E709 IR FILTER PRE REMOVED WITH 16mm LENS FROM SURE24 £59.00 MONITOR EBAY ITEM 290994428412 or similar. £12.98 SILICONE TUNE ( diam depends on your eye relief ) £6.07 PROJECT BOX EBAY ITEM 321612413218. £3.99 DOUBLE BATTERY HOLDER FOR 18560 batts EBAY 271897325452. £1.69 ON/OFF SWITCH EBAY 331591530784. £2.79 TOTAL. £86.52 SORRY FORGOT TO ADD YOU WILL NEED THE FLO PLAST THING FROM SCREWFIX THEY ARE ABOUT £1.10 or ABOUT £5.00 for 5. Dave G is selling a cracking camera holder at the moment which is by far the best thing out there for attaching the cam to scope.Although it would put a bit more cost into your builds is well worth the outlay rather than the silicone tube.Ive been quite lucky with the tube due to using one that's 4mm at each end. Battery's I would stay clear of the really cheap stuff & get genuine Panasonics or Torchy boys. The IR is your choice from T20's to the NM800 (my choice). I have just however received a T50 from night scout that fine for the monies. Edited July 16, 2015 by Davyo

Davyo
Mate that one of the bay cost about £25 plus post, mine broke after a few outings along one of the 3d layer joint(if thats the word for it).I thought it was mint when i 1st got i, but it was apparent that it was very brittle after the 1st session out.Dave-G's is outstanding quality and the grip it has on the scope is like nothing else out there.Have a look at his youtube footage ofhim swinging a scope around with one attached. nicholiath
How does the monitor attach to the silicone tube please.
Davyo
A 24p bracket. Inside the silicone tube is a 40mm spacer(waste pipe) that buffs up to the FLO PLAST,so the bracket has something solid to be fixed too.Simply tightly tapes then the tape painted with a clear resin,if done correctly it wil be solid.
