Redditch
Sam Neyt is good, as is the Primos (sometimes), and the Nordik (very good) , as well as the new MPK Crow call (very good) from Matt Kirk (I have them all
malkiserow
If its for shooting them , then none as it is illegal . Isn't that just electronic ones? Not sure but I did hear that once. Anyone any confirmation of this?
Redditch
The GC500 is a good electronic call, with an SD card holding 200 calls, a 300 yard remote with LCD, and use standard MP3 sound tracks, so you don't HAVE to buy special tracks. Also talk nicely to Rob Crampton at UK Best Fox Call, and he will generally add on lots of extra calls for you when you order. THAT SAID, as stated, for SHOOTING birds of ANY species, the use of electronic calls is highly illegal. They are allowed for photographic purposes (shooting with a camera, but not a gun ) and for use when shooting foxes

robbiep
Isn't that just electronic ones? Not sure but I did hear that once. Anyone any confirmation of this? Yes, it is just for electronic callers. However, you said in the first post that you were "thinking off getting an electric crow caller", so fenboy replied on that basis. No he did not , someone else started the post ! but anyway yes normal calls are fine , if I remember correctly its something about using a recording to attract them that is illegal. m greeny
In the right hands (or mouth) the primos is a belting call. My mate has one and calls them in really well but when i use mine it sounds like daffy duck is being strangled lol

My mate has one and calls them in really well but when i use mine it sounds like daffy duck is being strangled lol The Primos call does everything, and more, that the Sam Neyt one can do. It may be a bid harder to use for some people, but well worth sticking with it until you know how to use it properly. I have one for many years, and have two new ones as spares. I did buy a Sam Neyt one to see what it was like, after all the hype, but sold it the very next day. Using the Primos, I can call in Crows, Rooks, Jackdaw's and even Seagulls (but not to shoot) I highly recommend the Primos Power Crow caller. Caravanman
I just got an MPK crow call this week. Not tried it in the field yet but it sounds very good.
Scully
I'll second the Primos call. Takes a bit of getting used to, but once you've thrown the instructions away and actually started to listen to the birds, it's the dogs danglies in my opinion.
