malkiserow
Not sure if this has been done on PW before but it looks interesting. And no, I am not after one. It says it is heavy but I did not see a weight. That sure is a short barrel when you see a picture with the moderator off it. Anyone used one or seen one to comment on it's performance? http://www.maemoderators.co.uk/jms-arms-65x47-lapua-shorty.html
The Mighty Prawn
Awful looking thing, looks like the guns they fire grappling hooks with
Savhmr
I'd feel a little un-nerved knowing that all that lies between my eyesight and blindness is a couple of O-rings! It'd be interesting to learn how they last. Also interesting that it doesn't use faster burning powder for such a shorty barrel especially bearing in mind the additional volume of the moderator system using the annulus between mod and barrel as additional volume. Must be a swine to clean!
Bewsher500
they use nothing more than O-rings in hydraulic rams with a lot more pressure and potential disaster behind them!

Fuddster
I've shot the Accuracy International fully suppressed version in .308. very quiet with subsonic 308 rounds. it still had enough knock down power at point to impact to be useful. f. Bewsher500
my version H&R handi rifle rechambered to .222 18" break barrel single shot T12 scout comes up to the wood. very short and well balanced......
Rem223
they use nothing more than O-rings in hydraulic rams with a lot more pressure and potential disaster behind them! They also used O rings on the Space Shuttle solid fuel rocket boosters. Remind me again how that worked out!
coldweld
Your life depends on O rings every time you travel and you dont give it a second thought. What struck me was the rust spots on the bolt handle not a good look !

SPARKIE
its just a mae sound mod screwed onto a short rifle. problem is if you damage the crown/screw cut thread theres no metal to take off to push the mod back further.
