wisdom
Has anyone used the Olympic blues and how do they perform. Was thinking of using them as a practice cartridge. Are cheđdites better?
shoot and be safe
I found them a bit punchy compared to hull super-fast. I haven't used Cheddites so can't compare with them.
Hamster
Has anyone used the Olympic blues and how do they perform. Was thinking of using them as a practice cartridge. Are cheđdites better? I use a fair few of them mainly because they can be had in English 8's, supplies are reliable and the price is good, in terms of performance they kick a little less than Superbs which I had used for years and the break quality is excellent all the way to 50 yards. I still believe the Superbs give better breaks on hard edge on stuff beyond 40 yardish but in normal use you won't struggle a bit.
rovercoupe
Like them, never had a bad cart but went over to superfasts as they were £3 a slab cheaper, they def kick quite hard but through a semi they cycle the action great! malmick
I've used a couple of thousand Blues through my o/u and s/a. Keeps the forcing cones cleaner than Firsts and cycles the s/a well. Not used Cheddites. Cheers, Mick
discobob
Eley first select - I am currently getting them ot £35.50 per slab based on a 1k purchase A lot softer than Blues which I used to shoot with the same break - I shoot 9's for Skeet
biketestace
If you can get them, The Clever Mirage Super Targets are great value for money
Gordon R
Cheddite are a better cartridge in my book. I shoot Eley Blues because they are cheaper. Decent shells.
