sitsinhedges
Some great shots there. Were you actually decoying or just flight lining?
b325
Thanks for the kind comments. sitsinhedges I was just flightlining, I love to do this more than decoying whenever possible.
aga man
Always enjoy your videos b325, flightlining is the finest form of pigeon shooting alongside roosting imo. I have often sacrificed a good bag over decoys to enjoy some flightline sport, just don't tell the farmer Given all the recent talk of cartridges can you tell us what shells you were using in the video? b325
I was using Rio super game 32g 6.I've been shooting since I was 14,I'm 40 now and have tried all sorts over the years. My thoughts on cartridge choice are pretty much any will do out to 40 yards (with a bit of choke), any further than that then you need something you have confidence in. A fair bit of advice I would say, thanks

b325
Thanks Paul. There wasn't a breath of wind which made the longer shots easier.
yickdaz
fine shooting what chokes do you use my guess is tight chokes the way you kill them very high birds
b325
I used extra full chokes. In my opinion they do make longer shots possible but the trade off is more normal range shots (25to 35yards) are more difficult.

Milo
Good shooting perfectly demonstrating the advantages of swing through, especially on the longer birds. By getting the line right your misses can only ever be in front or behind. Well played, Sir.
steveshoots
Some shooters would spend £100s to have a session on high Phesant drives and you have done the same on pigeons although IMO these are harder shots. Well shot and thanks for the tip on the Rio Game loads I will give them a go.
