Hull super fast

Recommended Posts

All the pictures I can find of AS show a square flake the powder in the cartridge I took apart is clearly round . After several hours of looking at pictures of green flake disc powder I could only come up with the term Nobel Sport, perhaps someone more familiar with powders can identify it with the photo and weights I have listed.

Unless you have the correct test facilities , be very careful playing with alternative propellants .

If you do go down this route , work up to a load, don't just blindly load 23, 24, 25 grains etc.,

Deershooter it may be well worth you contacting Steve Dales at Clay & Game reloading supplies, he may be able to identify your powders.

Hull do often use powders that are not available to the public , but very often rival manufacturers will quickly produce a similar load to be competitive in the market place.

Express/Lyalvale tend to use Vectan powders which they also sell.

I have used AS for years it's not that

I have used AS as well for years but the owner of the clay ground Oak Lodge in Hartlepool has a superfast cut open and all the

contents listed as Durham are apparently asking people to name the components in a shot gun shell and the powder he has is defiantly Vectan AS.

The only other explanation is its not a superfast cut open but another make..

Mind you the main cartridge he stocks is superfast..

Im there on Sunday in a comp will double check then..
