Well i have a Hatsan escort that i have had for just over two years only use it for shooting cormorants & wildfowling. I have put around 500 shots though it & it went wrong last December when i was up on the solway as a pin dropped from the bolt & bent upon firing which put an early end to my trip. I had this repaired by eagar brothers. Now today after shooting three mallards two birds with one shot & the 3rd with the next shot the part that rides up & down the mag tube snapped :unhappy: . I'm gonna take the gun back to the shop tomorrow would i be within my rights to ask for my money back from the shop/importers as this is the 2nd time a metal part of the gun has let go with so few shells fired. Your thoughts gent's & please not just that Hatsans are junk as i'm starting to think that myself now, will be going for a A400 next i think.

What , they are amazing guns , never go wrong just keep them clean and feed them 70mm cartridges -----------------------so some say !

Others such as myself say you get what you pay for :whistling:

I got what I paid for, in fact I have 3 and they do not let me down.

As lots of us say keep the gun clean and it will not let you down (some will of course, but that is the same for all guns)

My 20g Hatsan Junior cycles 24gs without problem.

But his will no doubt add to the Marmite theory.

Hatsan threads are always interesting

Just interested why you are shooting cormorants cannot imagine they taste very nice

Fish protection on my club lake i have a licence from N.E to take birds that are not put off by scaring. All low i have seen a few clips on youtube of them being decoyed in Norway i think they treat them like game over there. May try one, one day :hmm:
