TaxiDriver
Thanks, And the whole lot Cost me £52 That's the wife's present sorted, (well she wanted it) 69Chris, I can relate to that as 26 years ago I experienced a life changing event that knocked the stuffing out of me for years and never bothered. Hope next year is a better one for you, Onwards and Upwards. Edited December 8, 2015 by TaxiDriver

SpringDon
I've been working at the local Christmas tree farm for the last few weekends. Last Saturday was enough to put you off trees for life. Just like the same weekend for the past 5 years.

KFC
My wife put up the white 3' artificial tree, that's been on top of the wardrobe for years, and she put some lights and decs on it because, for the first time in years, she won't be at work and my daughter and grandkids are coming over on Boxing day. We're going to them for Christmas day. I sorted out an extension lead for the lights for her. Well, you have to make an effort, don't you? 39TDS
Remember that Tubthumping song a few years back? "I get knocked down but I get up again" Well when the stuffing gets knocked out of you that is exactly what you have to do, get back up again! You can't just give up. I've had the stuffing knocked out of me before now and I honestly know exactly how you are feeling but you do need to keep going. Get the tree up, even if you hate Christmas. Besides all that, for those that have suffered I hope you have a better year next year. ps. I still think the best part of Christmas is setting fire to the tree in January.
