Underdog
Get a good HW for that, or an AA. Or two hatsans!

fenboy
Sat comfortably with a cuppa in my hand just waiting for Mole to come along and sing his Hatsan song. He will sooner or later as sure as dawn breaks , he will most likely give it the "want a webley stingray for half the price " line , swiftly followed by the HW chopped spring and full of swarf argument
oldypigeonpopper
hello, this HW 95K in .177 or a cheapy the HATSAN 900X in .
evo
take no notice of all the above,, buy yourself a hatsan, best rifle built in the last decade, value for money, it shoots bunnies and pigeons, its only letdown is you cannot hit a 5p piece at 100 yrds, shame really as me and Fenboy where going to buy a couple of thousand and become the main importer for the UK,we had even recruited Bruno22rf as our main sales assistant, we are all in shock now and out of a job due to the fact that a secret agent called mole heard about this and bought an extra 250,000 so safe to say we lost the contract, this secret agent called mole is still passing them on to gunshops at a silly reduced price trying to get some of his money back, don't worry about Bruno22rf,, we have now sorted him new employment out, he is now the gaffer tape in the uk porn industry, as for me and Fenboy, well we can only dream about owning a hatsan, never mind,, if you also cant afford a hatstand then get yourself a HW80 made by weihrauch ,excellent rifle and also built to last approximately 6431 years longer than a hatstand good look in your search but be careful if you do purchase a hatsan due to the fan mail you will receive from the secret agent

secretagentmole
Surprises everybody, but the best has to be the HW95, however you probably will be unlucky and yours probably will need tuning to sort out the sharp edges internally and replace the spring that was finished with an angle grinder. If the HW95 was finished properly, with good QC then it would be a brilliant rifle. However bear in mind the fact that it will probably be gouging itself internally, full of swarf and have mangled seals (due to sharp edges, poorly finished springs and QA that is more like QF). Properly sorted the HW95 (carbine versions especially) are fantastic. But best rifle under £150 has to be a Hatsan 55 or 60!
Les*1066
But best rifle under £150 has to be a Hatsan 55 or 60! Wow! None of us saw that one coming! (+1 for the HW95 )
FalconFN
I'd pay a couple of pounds more and get a HW77 or 97 but really the best thing would be go to a gun shop and try s few out to see which feel the best in your hands. Either way I think HW are the leaders in that price range.

I could get closer to them with the stock than I could with a pellet from the barrel though , it grouped like a shotgun but perhaps Mr Mole brought all the good ones. clayandgame
Thanks for all your opinions from that I think I may go out a get a couple of the Hatsans or maybe even 3 as I have found a site that is selling by 2 and get one FREE. But failing that what do you think to the HW 99s?

But failing that what do you think to the HW 99s? hello, would not be my choice as i said a HW 95K in .177, light/full power/silencer/ with a hawke 3x9x40/50 you will not need to buy anything else, if you found a good one S/H you could get a hatty 900X to tinker with. pat g
Thanks for all your opinions from that I think I may go out a get a couple of the Hatsans or maybe even 3 as I have found a site that is selling by 2 and get one FREE. But failing that what do you think to the HW 99s? The 99 is an affordable no nonsense springer which is overlooked in favour of the 95. However get yourself a Sandwell Field Sports 99 which is fettled by them and re sold as the IMP and you've got yourself a proper springer that will match any other offerings and even smoother than any Airarms. My 77k is a stage 2 done by Sandwell and its better than my previous Airarms Prosport. No Kidding!!!! An IMP will be a little over your £300 budget though unless you are extremely lucky enough to pick a used example up ATB, Pat
bruno22rf
Just to keep you up to date evo-I lost the job you got for me in the Porn business when I was caught stalking Tony Belas armed with some works tape-they did offer me a job as a model but the staples on the pages obscured my danglies so they had to let me go. Working part time at the moment down our local Sewer beating over sized Fudge Dragons with a stick to prevent blockages but next week I will be walking the streets advertising the latest Apple phone aimed at kiddies-got a stunning red T Shirt with " I touch Children" in bold white letters all over it-job looks really well paid but no one seems to stay long-wish me luck. Pistol p
Weihrauch hw 95 but I'm biased .. Agree with underdog I agree too. But only because I've got one for sale. Comes with a scope and bag for £275.
Longbower
As Evo said HW80 is bullet proof, but heavy if you are of 'slighter build', HW 95K is all you will need. Just as well made but lighter to cart around.
