Just got back from dropping off my usual bottle's off at my permissions and had an unexpected surprise off one. There's a newish plantation and he had noticed right ring barking on a few of the tree's, "would it be interested in shooting a few muntjac?" It would need to be early mornings or late eveningsummer.

Well after some time to think about it, I decided it could be a good idea.

;-)

Happy Christmas lol.

Cheers Dougy, Thank you, I certainly am in touch with the other "olds" regularly, they send their good wishes and look forward to you actually buying some burgers?

I've made a pact for 2016 it's going to be a year of giving to the elderly so you'll all be in luck. Lol

All the best looking forward to seeing you all at the van. ;-)

Yes we could do with a bit of luck this year Dougy. At the moment I have to have someone in the house 24/7 so I am not getting out much.

When I can get away then shopping, etc, has to take priority.

Getting old is no fun but the alternative is not too rosy either...

I keep saying to folk that its OK to get old, the option is not one I would choose.

There's an old chap in the local who pops out every night for his game of Domies and a couple of pints, last year during some heavy winds he got blown over, probably a bit of a trip and the wind combined just outside his house. Some chap in a big Lexus (expensive joby) help him to his feet and asked if he wanted taking home, this happened at the bottom of his drive. Old Stan 89 snapped at the gent (in a nice kind of way) and said NO! im off to the pub, so the chap walked him about 250 yards to the local. What a gent

You just have to keep going and don't let them get you :good:
