WinchesterDave
Here are another small selection I did today. Not the best light to work with but they've turned out okay I guess similar to last post because, yes, I went to the same place ha;) I was hoping someone could tell me the species of this duck? Cheers. M Edited January 28, 2016 by WinchesterDave
fenboy
The top duck could be a hybrid , but contains a large portion of widgeon.
Danger-Mouse
The top duck could be a hybrid , but contains a large portion of widgeon. A shame it`s not a small amount . . . then it would be a smidgeon of widgeon. Nice photos Dave.

fenboy
Having looked indeed it is , not seen one before , where was the photo taken , was it a wild duck or in a collection.
WinchesterDave
This selection of photographs, like my last post are all taken at WWT Martin Mere; Lancashire. I'm guessing it's not wild.
fenboy
Yes you would be extremely fortunate to get a picture of a wild one , the bill colour had me thinking it had wigeon in it as did the colours on the side , but the head and back were not right and the bill was a little long .
