Day off uni meant a trip to Mere Sands wood - Lancahsire. First time I've been. I left with good light and arrived with a blanket of cloud, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Here is a selection of many, being in a wood with cloud, meant high Iso so not at sharp as previous.

Great snaps Dave.

That robin looks like he has been scrapping!

Thank you mate! There was a large number of Robins all in the vicinity - most over ever seen in one place so it's more than likely

Beautiful pictures as always Dave I too like the Canada's you seem to have an eye for flight photos

Thank you Impala!:)

Cracking photos! What equipment are you using if you don't mind me asking? Apologies if it has been asked before!

Not a problem at all pal👍 I'm using the Canon 70d with the Sigma 150-600mm OS Contemporary.

Brilliant - you and GG must have the patients of a saint to photograph wildlife. Its something I would love to give a go but coming from a gig photographing environment its in the pit for 3 songs and out. Can't imagine being still enough to get a decent pic.

Cheers FM; yes it can be annoying with the patience bit. But at the end of the day I'm out in the countryside with my camera which I love taking pictures of wonderful creatures:) what's not to like lol!
