bluesj
I've used a dead rabbit and crow with some successes limited but some. other than decoys in the right place the best successes I've had is with a dead crow up side down
robbiep
Nothing wrong with the idea. My own preference is for a sheep's fleece after shearing, with a few lengths of red ribbon. Drop a couple of decoys by it, and get out of sight. Another good thing (I've found) is to put one decoy on a fence post, as if it's a lookout. old'un
If you have a field that crows are crossing or landing on you don't need all that stuff just put some dead crows, rooks or magpies in the field and get well hidden, they will come.
