Oddly enough I do get what he is doing with the song, it builds tension as the song progresses, his emotional distress at the 'sound of silence' increases and so does the tension in the song, the emotions progress so his feelings become amplified etc. All very allegorical and effective too, but still shouty Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
