gibby
Back from my trip to Spain this weekend. Had 3 days of hunting planned for one beast. Lucked out on the first day with the PH putting me in the right spot. We saw a herd of Billys at 200 yards and the shot was taken. A truly hardy animal with it running a good 150-200 yards up the mountain, heart in my mouth moment as it was about to disappear over the crest of the hill before stumbling backwards and going down. Shot was placed perfectly behind the shoulder but didn't go straight through, exiting 6 inches further back on the opposite side, but still haven't had anything get away with the Sako Super Hammerheads 150gr. If anyone is looking for a good outfitter in Spain for any of the Ibex species drop me a PM, could not recommend them enough. Gibby

gibby
Thanks guys. Certainly will look good on the wall, but need to coax the mrs first. It's a Sako 85, laminate varmint in .308. Scope is a Swarovski 5-30x50 with the ballistic turret and illuminated reticle. Would definitely recommend the IR on these scopes with their fine reticle.
