team tractor
Tonight I went for a walk with my Brno mod 2. I recently had the barrel chopped to 16" and it's superbly accurate and I've discovered an all new love for it. I was out for the last hour of light and managed 5 bunny for 6 shots off the sticks in between 20 and 70 yards. All head shot .
team tractor
It's just so light and hits everything in its path ( not me tho lol) .
Lloyd90
I've recently also had mine cut to about 16" , haven't had a chance to get out shooting yet though! Soon hopefully
Houseplant
Yes, it's a great rifle. Once a rabbit (or possum!) is in the crosshairs, it's pretty much dead already.

mr who?
I brought a well used but not abuse Model 2 E a good few years ago now , Was one of the very first rifles I got . The barrel had already been chopped to 16 inchs and rethreaded . A trigger kit was already fitted and the rifle came with a 5 and a 10 shot metal mags . I seem to think the rifle was made in 1986 and had a few bumps and dints as you expect from a working rifle of this age . In fact the only thing I can remember being wrong with it was that the front sling stud dropped out the very first time I tried to fit a bipod! Not really a problem , I just moved it back an inch and refitted it . I also fitted a height adjustable butt pad And brought extra mags . And fitted a fairly decent scope on dovetail to weaver mounts . Down range , When fed on a diet to Eley subs , And shot off the bipod and using a rear stock bag . Under perfect conditions , So no wind , good light and firing at a known distance etc... , I would expect to group of 5 shot group at 60M to be about the size on my thumb nail , As normal . Or about the size of my little finger nail If Im really on form , And have laid off the coffee . I plink (Not hunt) Out to 150M , Using clay pigeons , With some pretty good results . And is an excellance confidance building exercise . I paid £100 for mine about 9 years ago , And I still say its some of the best money Ive ever spent (Not a statement I make likely , What with me being half Scottish) All the best fellas . Andy . This is the gun from my Brno thread that was a worn unserviced for years and just tatty from two years ago. I bought it off Daf ( Welsh warrior) as he got it in . I'll add I asked him for a project gun that was tatty . I reblued it and sanded the stock/reoiled it while I had a broken leg.
