JRDS
Usually see these in pairs but went shooting yesterday and I have never seen as many, big flocks about and saw way more of these than Woodies? Any one else noticed an increase in numbers.
Cranfield
I saw some big flocks in the Winter and Spring months, I have never seen so many and commented on here. At the moment they are back in pairs and smaller groups, but there does seem to have been either a population explosion, or the immigration crisis is spreading. pigeon controller
We have large amounts in the Midlands, over the weekend we must have had at least twenty constantly flying round our pattern . We recently saw a field of at least one hundred on seed. They are protected and nothing seems to predate on them effectively.

Yes very much so, we let them land and walk about as it will bring birds to your pattern. It just a pain when you snap shot a woody then you switch to a bird in your peripheral vision and it's a dove.
Wilksy II
There's a few in east yorks but it's collared doves that seem to have spiked round here!
