Somedays I sit and wish it was like in my beginning when there were around 40 of us, and we all new each other on a first name basis and could take the mick or help with a problem and there was never any bickering. However the site has grown, and with it has come the need for the moderators we have. All in all the Mods do a great job on this site, they keep it tight and they keep it clean for the kids. It is a thankless job and one I would not like. Like I said it will be a shame to see you leave, was kinda hoping you would run another raffle this year. Maybe I am also getting old and passed it for a MODERN site, when WILL and the lads started out it was fun and dedication to our sports/PIGEON VERMIN shooting that mattered . I might find a good charity.. and plenty of independant witnesses to help out.... anyway.... here is something that another member .... (one of many) would like to pass on .... I copied and pasted it from my inbox from another site....... but its not me typing....... I can provide at least 20 more emails and pms just like this and in more details to prove my point about how upset and dissapointed we are about the rules.. and how some mods use them to suite themselfs... and that there is a differant rule for everyone... so read on... below ... PASTED!!! tell him form me i dont like his way of doing things !! banning me for puting this sites web addy on was just ott imo as he had warned others and not banned them he could have warned me not to do it and deleeted the post but no not him the big head he is i know i then went on to edit all my posts and leaving this sites ady in which was wrong of me but its done now got 30 or so done before they banned me just tell him from me i think he over reacted and hope one day we meet face to face to sort it out in a gentalmanly way of course cheers kirky END OF PASTE if that doesnt say anything than let me know! (often the innocent person!) jon I have just accepted the poisoned chalice of becoming a forum moderator .What makes you think that I has a family man with 2 young daughters or anyone else of the mod team have the time to patrol this site 24 hrs a day ..........it is'nt reality .We all have lives outside the forum and more so in the better weather months and myself like many others on here cut the mod team some slack because they appreciate someone has to do it and don't want the responsibilty themselves . It's been mentioned before ,This site is free to join and I will not be getting a penny for giving up more of my valuble time in the evening to sift through god knows what enters a web site accessed by the World . To be honest I was trying to be productive.. so mods ban me before I make my next post which will no doubt ban me!!! that was a fair warning! I was trying again to help out and to bring to your silly attention some very important issues that really require action. however if you wish to behave like a mindless child.... than fair dues. I only give a rats behind about the remark "attention seeking" because for those who know me... they will understand this is far from the truth.. I have supported..... reccomended and even helped and organised things within this site... Rubbish to a cry to help.... (please seek mental attention bud) I have seen alot of good friends made on this forum express there sadness... and to be honest.. please send me a email before I get banned... so we can keep in touch.... I will get banned soon... trust me! I wont hide behind a computer...... call me if you think I am over reacting... I hate muppets who think they can type rubbish like "attention seeking" or make light of someones leaving or sentimental goodbyes.... I was trying to be polite.... however idiots seem to make this impossible to do... So Frog you ... ribbit ribbit. see I want to type so much more...but to follow the rules.... I was hoping on trying to bring to the mods and site owners attention that I ( a active member ) am leaving because of issues.. and was hoping that they might just listen and take them on board.... I also wanted to say goodbye to the few that have really helped... like always.. I maybe didnt come across with that exact message.... so appologies for that... however it appeared almost from the start of my post as a joke for some. hence my last harsh post.. On many forums people give it the big "i'm off, I can't stand it here any more" speach and then in 99.99% of all cases they proceed to log on regulaly for months to come just to see if anyone is begging for them to come back. Sorry if it sounded like I was having a pop at you Jon. I supported you with your raflle (as did many others on here) I have no axe to grind with you, but I am not alone in feeling a bit sick of PW bashing recently - I would just like us all to move on...
