WelshMike
Nicely done buddy. I have a Howa 1500 varmint stainless with laminate thumbhole stock in .243. Accounted for a few foxes since I purchased it and no complaints for me. Have fun

kennett
Same here! Had to go second hand but got a howa in 223, leupold scope and wildcat predator moderator. Messing about on eBay the next day I found a boyds laminate thumbhole stock free not a lot of cash, which arrived today! Planning to stick a photon on top when I have the pennies! Have fun I had the 1500 in 243 before i retired from shooting, kept to 100g for both deer and fox.It was no understatement to say you 'needed a shovel'to pick a fox up.Lovely guns at a sensible price. steve_b_wales
I've got the Howa 1500 Varmint heavy barrel in .204 Ruger. An excellent gun, albeit a bit heavy, but I don't carry it too far. Looking forward to trying it on few long range Crows this coming winter. kennett
I hope you are as happy with your new howa as I am with mine. Took it out for the first time yesterday for a play. At 100yds I was doing 3 shot groups into less than my thumbnail, with a blustery breeze and a less than perfect rest. For a factory rifle with factory ammo I'm well pleased!
