lakeside1000
AA Decoys turbo inc timer, bought 3, problems with linkage on 1 after 2 years, replaced promptly free of charge. +1 AA Highly recommended, I run 2 turbo's with timers, they work well in the right situation but are not always a replacement for the magnet. I did start with their basic flapper as it was cheaper, but it was a piece of junk, made from bent wire and a nightmare to set up, wings go up but don't come down again, I had to rig it with an elastic band return, I still have it if you want it cheap. The turbo flappers have a small low consumption motor which will run all day on a 5 amp battery. easy to set up and have a fairly long extendable mounting peg, so good in low crops as well, I have a mod on mine , I use a 3 foot long fibreglass rod, drilled at one end to take the mounting peg, I stick it in the tram lines on standing crop so it looks like its trying to land on top of the grain heads, works a treat. Hur5ty
I've just purchased one of flightline decoys, the FF5. Be interesting to see how it works.
kippylawkid
I too have an FF5 from Flightline, and I'm very impressed with it. Good quality piece if kit. ALso have an A1 Turbo Flapper which is decent. I recently broke a connecting rod on my FF5 and Nick from Flightline couldn't have been more helpful. He sent out replacement rods foc. Currently saving my pennies for their new Auto Bouncer. Looks the business.
Hur5ty
Yes Nick does seem extremely helpful. I haven't used my Flapper yet but will test it out Wednesday. The flapper feels extremely strong and simple to mount dead birds on. The AUTO bouncer does looks great.
