Penelope
Does anyone know where to get one from? I have seen the on the Kynoch site, but wondered if there was anywhere else. Thanks in advance.
Gunman
Only place to get them is from Kynock unless in the unlikely event your local gunshop has one . There are some Silvers type pads about some are OK like the Galazan pads from the US but be wary of the cheap look-alikes ones with are absolute ****** . Most probably unless you can buy direct it will have to be ordered .

Penelope
Thanks, an internet search showed Kynoch's as being the most likely. Old Boggy
Is it for a nice side by side ? If so, have you considered a leather covered recoil pad which would look really good. You can do this yourself with the help of an excellent youtube video from Midway USA. It`s not too difficult. Just a thought. OB

Thanks in advance. Many thanks for posting. I was after something for my lad's Williamson; knew what I was after but not what they were called and would have probably ended up recommending one of the cheap imitations. Penelope
For my Midland 3" magnum, I currently use a leather slip on pad to extend the stock length, but want to make it permanent and aesthetically pleasing. I'll stick with London Orange. Is it for a nice side by side ? If so, have you considered a leather covered recoil pad which would look really good. Smokersmith
I've fitted 2 of this style over the last couple of years ... An original Kynoch one on an 8 bore, and a Bisley "look a like" off eBay. Happy with them both, but the one off eBay was a lot cheaper. Penelope
Ebay showed nothing comparable. I've fitted 2 of this style over the last couple of years ... rwade545
Pachmyar also do an orange old English pad, only comes in medium size but softer and better at recoil absorption then the silvers or bisleys options.

rwade545
True, if keeping it authentic then a silvers is the way forward. I have previously got one from kynoch, but they are quite hard, hence why I'm going to try the pachmayr orange on my current project. Pachmayr pad good in brown on a light sxs I had. Hector Vector
I bought a gun with a brown Pachmayr pad fitted - it looked like somebody had stuck a dog poop on it! Horrible. Quickly replaced with an orange pad, much nicer.
