roadkill
the boss is moaning at me because her washer/dryer is no longer playing games, i suggested i end its life but that will compromise my shooting! so hoping that we have some knowledge on here so i can go back to a peaceful life. so it washes the clothes fine but when it comes to dry it keeps filling up with water so half of the drum is full. I checked the pump and its working as expected Next i put it on a drain cycle and the water drained and the fast speed spin completed however after it had come to the end of the cycle i could here that water was still going to the washer and that the drum had started to fill before it turned off leaving the bottom of the drum covered in water. I then tried it on a dry with no clothes in and as i watched noticed again that it was filling with water.. Any help would be greatly received. jamie
vmaxphil
Look at the water inlet valve to see if it's passing water
andypaint
Sounds like it could be the ecu (brain) playing, getting the cycles mixed up. Probably time for new machine, especially if over a few years old Sounds like it could be the ecu (brain) playing, getting the cycles mixed up. saddler
Chap near me fixes them for next to nothing. Could just be a blown or faulty component on the main board. Try to find a local independent specialist to take a look first before binning the whole thing. Or Google/YouTube it. You can pick up 2nd boards for a few quid. Gotta be worth trying....heaps of man-skill brownie points from the mrs if ya get it fixed for a few pesos!
parapilot
Checked the filter? Mine always fills with water and does not drain right and it's always pesky color catches in the filter. Hate them things!!
bruno22rf
How old is it?
rimfire4969
First I would check all filters then move onto the inlet valve. If no luck shoot it 12 gauge number 3 or 4 should do the trick.

saddler
At a year and a but should still be under warranty I would have thought? Warranty should be at least 24 months Look into this, may save a few quid (& be a known issue)
