kernel gadaffi
On Sunday, at midday, I'll be welcoming someone new into my life, Alfie, a 2.5 year old rescue Border Terrier, I can't wait to meet him. Happy, happy, happy.
JDog
Good luck with Alfie. Three things to know about Borders. Firstly they have no road sense. Secondly, if they are working terriers they need a good run every day and by that I mean they need to chase something. Thirdly, obedience does not come easily to them. kernel gadaffi
Thanks for the replies, I've had two Borders before, so know about their traits, funny, cute, loving, mischievous, cantankerous, bewildering, inquisitive, nosy, terrible, violent, well, in a league of their own really. I've been in a bungalow for 3 months now and it has a good size garden, so there's plenty of runaround space and he'll keep the cats away, woe betide any that continue to use the garden as a shortcut. Cats have 9 lives, but when there's a Border about, that becomes a negative number .

Scully
The love of my life was my Border Terrier, which very sadly died last August. I still miss her. Have fun; you can't have anything else but fun with a Border terrier in your life.
