AVB
The Missus and I are going a concert at Wembley stadium next month (Jeff Lynne's ELO). What's the PW advice on getting to Wembley nowadays? Drive or tube? It's a Saturday. Thanks.
wandringstar
drive to the nearest but one or two tube stations, park, then go in, don't drive near Wembley, not worth it. Or drive to Sudbury hill and get a 92 bus to Wembley if I remember.
stevo_m
Last time I went, we drove to a station just north of Wembley, parked in the road for free and walked to the tube station, worked well and meant we weren't heading the same direction as most when leaving Wembley. Cranfield
Drive and Tube , as suggested, is the best way IMO.

Pigeon Shredder.
Went last week, Harold Wood to Stratford, Mile End to Baker Street, Baker Street to Wembley Park. £3.10 each way on the Oyster Card. Maybe Epping is nearer for you, anyway enjoy your concert.

I think High Barnet is closer for you Northern line then change for the jubilee line for Wembley 👍👍 Or drive to Stanmore jubilee line 4 stops to Wembley Edited May 22, 2017 by the crowman
Vince Green
I think High Barnet is closer for you Northern line then change for the jubilee line for Wembley Or drive to Stanmore jubilee line 4 stops to Wembley Stanmore is good, the roads around are nearly all resident parking till 6.30. They do have a car park but I've never used it so can't comment. Or Pinner station has a big station car park that's cheap and very convenient. Lots of people park and ride from Pinner Edited May 23, 2017 by Vince Green

Lots of people park and ride from Pinner If there is an event at Wembley, the car park at Stanmore Tube will most likely be full. If you're coming from Essex / Herts border it makes no sense to drive to Stanmore anyway..? Cat.
Woodbepigeonshooter
Look on line at a website called "just park" I used a driveway just round the corner from Wembley about 8 minute walk and no traffic post concert. The principle is you pay to park on someone's drive through a website....... genius.

You have to get to somewhere on the line into Wembley, Stanmore is very direct to get to off the M25, straight down the A1 but most people park in the side roads
