TIGHTCHOKE
Trying to fit in seeing it, must have a check and see which of our local cinemas is showing it. Just looked and it was on a ONE NIGHT ONLY showing! Oh well the DVD will have to do! Edited September 14, 2017 by TIGHTCHOKE
Trevorevans
Thoroughly enjoyed it. Was an excellent production except 'Great Gig In The Sky'. Quite possibly the worst rendition I've ever heard, made me and a few others cringe, should have been left on the cutting room floor. Also think it would have benefited from being in 3D last night, would have made the laser show really come alive. Would have loved to have been there in person, bet the atmosphere was astounding. ips
I always found Floyd to be a touch pretentious. Much prefer Sabbath myself

Much prefer Sabbath myself Funnily enough there is a Black Sabbath (final) tour film showing at the cinema at the moment too. Unfortunately they are a shadow of their former selves IMO. One to miss for me.

Unfortunately they are a shadow of their former selves IMO. One to miss for me. I can imagine, they were not that brilliant when I saw them in the 80s . These old rock bands would be better staying retired instead of tainting the memory of fans.
Muddy Funker
That guitar solo at the end (comfortably numb) made the hairs on my neck stand up, it was incredible. Very lucky the people that got to be there live.

Pigeon Shredder.
This is worthy of Pseuds Corner... Sabbath, had more fronts than Woolworths and could never hold a candle to the Floyd.
Muddy Funker
I saw him on that tour in the amphitheater in Verona. Absolutely fantastic. I'm very jealous I bet that was something else. I've seen him just once, in Pink Floyd at Knebworth 90, I was only 14. That was the bonus of having a mate with hippy parents haha, they brought us along and bought us beers, maybe not great parenting but what an awesome memory. stu64
just seen this topic,a little late, but realised its exactly one year ago i saw him in the albert hall on this tour. my first visit to the albert hall, and to see Dave Gilmour there was the ultimate live concert for me. (along with Roger waters concert "the wall" in wembley stadium in 2014). being a lifelong fan all i can say is get the blue ray, turn up the surround sound and enjoy!
