ips
Webley and Scott guns. Good or bad ?
Scully
Originals very good. Those modern OU's which bear the name but made in Turkey (?) not good at all.
ips
So, Lincoln better than ws then ??
lancer425
Commonplace with Webley & Scott have been selling other manufacturers guns with their name on them on occasion for close to half a century or more, i had a Beretta 56E from the 1970s with Webley & Scott wrote all over it was non the worse for this though an excellent gun. . ips
Me thinks a trip to rfd tomorrow to look at Lincoln and Ws. I have bling guns and sxs and auto but what I don't have is a cheap all rounder that I won't cry about if I bash it. On paper or rather online pics and tech info either of the above fit the bill as long as they fit of course. Will report back

There are a lot of very good 101's out there for less than £500.

Scully
Cheap is sub 1.5kThen you have many many to choose from, including Browning, Miroku, Winchester, CG or even an older Perazzi.
ips
I should have elaborated. I would go up to 1.5k if that was the only gun that was suitable and fitted however I prefer to stay under 1k as its an all round gun for occasional esp, walked up, hide shooting and maybe driven if I end up shooting it better than I shoot the 687 which at the moment is lacking consistency. Its probably me but you all know what its like when you get that niggling doubt in your mind that its the gun 😞 Edited September 21, 2017 by ips
Scully
Then again, a good 101( will hold its value ) or have a look at the Lanber Sporting Deluxe

sportsbob
Have you seen the new Webley 1000 series that are made in Italy? They are reported to be better guns than the 900 series.
ShootingEgg
My 912k used to fire both barrels if selector was top barrel first. Apart from that it was an okay gun. Edited September 24, 2017 by ShootingEgg
sp3k3y
You would be better off spending the money on having the gun you already have fitted properly and sone lessons. Thats what i did and it improved my shooting and enjoyment alot
