Old farrier
Maybe they didn't suit your gun I've used a fair amount and found them good Gun used browning special waterfowl I'm sure that Winchester put a lot of time and money into developing them Best plan is try a box and see how they suit you All the best Of
lancer425
These are the answers i did not want to hear winchester are usually turn out good cartridges these square pellets would seem to be harder to produce than normal round steel, and the development as OF says.. Loking at them thoughts were as posts one and two yet you have to ask WHY go to this trouble making this ammunition putting your good name to it and potentially alienating a loyal user base. Post three as thrown me now i do not know what to think. I have read the winchester bumf online, but can any physics experts please try to explain in simple terms why these cartridges could have difinative advantages. I must say OF i do not doubt your observations and sure they worked for hense why you posted as such, but i have to lean towards the first two posts it looks a gimmick. johnnytheboy
I used them felt they were good but some other cartridges could compete for less money, plus you can't shoot them out of ported chokes which is a pain as I like a high flyer choke
6.5x55SE
I liked them performance. Killed well for me So would cartridges loaded with " Rock Salt " if you shoot stuff close enough Each to there own but tested them on Decoyed Canada's Greylag and Pink's Flighting same species. Numerous Duck species same type of shooting due to the volume of shooting i do 15 to 25 yrd they kill over that a catapult would be more useful. These was shot through Beretta Browning Winchester Hatsan Remington Guns and as many different chokes you can imagine
lancer425
Watched a few reviews just now on this shot seem to be as 6.555 says short range fine but run out of steam30 or so yards max. A review here,
hatsanmad
I personally have never used them or even seen them si cant say much but each gun prefers different rounds to the next when i used to buy my guns performed and patterned better with eley vip lead loads and gamebore steel. Best answer is buy a box and pattern them
Perazzishot
tried 200 on ducks 1 day last season, kills were not as clean and range seemed limited after 40 yds. Not worth £1 a cartridge by any stretch of the imagination.

lancer425
These cartridges appear to be a closer range load, some good reports from some guns not so others, i do ok with normal steel at these shorter ranges and wont be bothering buying any of them. But thank all for sharing their views here.
