billytheghillie
Whats the best one to get, Icotech or Foxpro? Its mainly for photographing black things, and is it better to get one that you can add calls to? Cheers.
Novice
Foxpro seem to have the better reputation. Definitely get one you can add to, otherwise you'll always be thinking "if only I had such and such call on here, they'd be bombing in" 😁
foxbuster
I have the icotec 500 and find it really good. Bought from 'Best foxcaller' and asked for it to be pre loaded with the uk calls which Rob kindly did for me, loads of calls on it and they work well. Have dropped a load more foxes thanks to the caller. Has good range and is pretty loud when using it in open areas. Has the ability to connect a visual lure to the auxiliary port if needed. This model definitely has my vote, although I am aware that some favour the foxpro.
steve_b_wales
I have a Foxpro Spitfire which I bought new many years ago. A PW member added some 'British' sounds onto a micro SD card and informed me how to register them to the remote. It has a range of just under 100 yards, which is ideal for me. labstaff
I've got a flextone flx 500 which I'm happy with. It comes preloaded with calls (American) but you can download your own onto a SD card.

dipper
I've called foxes in by sucking on the palm of my hand.Had them in shotgun range .Was shown how by old keeper many years ago.The younger generation seem to spend cash on things they don't need.Seen guides in Scotland call all fowl, and crows without a call.Never tried that.Dipper.
