GingerCat
Anyone had a replacement one fitted lately and know roughly what it' costs. My ou (lanber) is a bit short for me as the Mrs used to use it mostly. Now shes not so bothered I wanna extend it to fit.
wymberley
If this is purely for fit and recoil doesn't come into the equation and the Lanber has a butt plate (I know not), then spacers are readily available in a range of sizes and are quite easily shaped to suit. adzyvilla
I had my browning stock squared off and extended with a 3/4" Ebonite pad earlier this year by my local gunsmith. He did an excellent job and it cost me £72 including parts and labour.
steve_b_wales
I used a slip on rubber butt pad with a 1" piece of shaped wood fitted inside it. This was used when I had add on NV, and it worked a treat.

GingerCat
I've called some smiths and it' over 120 quid any which way we slice it. I'l try a slip on, if I was going to pay that much I'd px the gun for an ata 686 .
johnphilip
If you go for a slip on , dont leave it on your stock as it will stain the woodwork , how much do you need to alter your stock length.

Ok but do not leave it on, it will mark you stock , then that will need redoing.

As mentioned, I fitted a shaped piece of wood into the slip before attaching it to the stock.
