Ply they class as the thermal barrier and it works great plus gives it mega strength combined with 18mm either side of it i make them for a living but after many years of supplying everyone else I thought sod it I’ll have one now oil ? I guess 3 coats but I’m putting 2 on before I fit it in this weather. Oh a cheers 40 minutes ago, TIGHTCHOKE said: A thing of simple beauty, very nice. Looks nice though mate It’s just the general construction of it. 20mm tennons , wbp far eastern core, sapele ( strongest hardwood available to me I feel) hoping it lasts me for good.
