pegasus bridge
I’ve just spent an hour of my insomnia cleaning up my YouTube subscriptions, when I came accross a channel that I’ve not seen for ages- it was strangely enjoyable - ‘GUNVIDDER’ - does any one know what happened to him? He’s not posted for 7 years.... he did some extremely detailed reviews, general shooting stuff .... heres a flavour ;

Happy days when I was about 11 scouring the hedgerows for the odd bunny, or waiting for a pigeon to land in a nearby tree. No flying shots then. Each Eley Fourten cartridge bought from paper round wages had to earn it's keep and supplement the family food budget. OB
7iain7
He lost the password to his youtube channel. As far as I know he's still Daryl's about.

Houseplant
The name rang a bell. He did a good video on installing a YoDave trigger kit in to a CZ452. Very helpful 🤙
bruno22rf
With respect - anyone intending to do videos on guns should know the basics - that's an extractor not an ejector and as for having been told that the gun is Belgian, why ask - the proof marks are clearly Liege. Agreed Mr. Bruno22rf. I formed the impression he knew very little of what he was talking about. It seemed as if he had never before seen a Belgian folding fourten, but was making an informative film about it. Not only did he not know Belgian proof marks, he was also not aware they were for black powder only.
bruno22rf
Cant really say much about the BP catch - was caught making the same mistake a while back when I bought a Belgian .410 off this very site - been at my local Gunsmith for several years now awaiting NP and work to the headspace - money down the drain methinks. Farmboy91
I would say I'll check the proof marks on mine now, but it's been fine and not blown up in my face for the last 18 months and I don't doubt it had plenty of np cartridges through it before I had it. London Best
I think we all had (a succession of) Belgian .410’s that were black powder only as lads, but didn’t know and cheerfully used nitro cartridges through them. Can’t recall one blowing up. Edited April 25, 2020 by London Best
